Chesterton Recreation Ground

Chesterton Recreation Ground is a park in south west Chesterton, adjacent to [St Andrews Church, Chesterton]?. The park is marked into full-size sports pitches, depending upon the season. The park includes small changing rooms for sports teams, and dank malodorous toilets. The recreation ground is used by youth sports teams at weekends. There is also a skateboard ramp and children's recreation ground. The ground is a common place to exercise dogs, and is used as a shortcut between Elizabeth Way and Chesterton Village. An "elephant track", which is often muddy, connects the footpath between Elizabeth Way and St Andrews Church to the exit from the recreation ground to the northern end of Church Street.

The recreation ground is also known as St Andrews Park in official literature.
