One of the later opening pubs in Cambridge.

It's divided into two halves; the handpumps are all on one side, but the other side has pump clips up behind the bar so you can see what's on.  Service is from both sides of the bar.  The non-handpump side has a cosier feel, despite the large flatscreen, while the other is lighter and airier and has a normal TV.

There's plenty of seating, with tables suitable for groups sized from 2 to 10, with some banquette seating and a couple of high stools as well as normal upright chairs.  The floor is exposed floorboards.  There's some outside seating too, some of it covered.

On a September 2010 visit, the ales were St Austell Tribute (&pound;1.65/half), Brewers Gold, Black Dog, Summer Lightning, Indian Summer, Woodforde Wherry, and their own Maypole Ale.  They also had Old Rosie cider on handpump, and had a sign up advertising bottled Belgian beer.

They do food; according to a board outside <small>[http://www.flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/5027531232/ photo]</small> this comprises "home-made Italian dishes and traditional English classics", and includes a "special children's menu" (families are welcome before 7pm).  Not entirely sure of the food times, but on a Wednesday afternoon in September 2010 people were being told that it would start at 5pm.

They offer free wifi (get the password from the bar), but a member of staff warned that it "sometimes doesn't work".

Accessibility: A step to get in at one of the entrances (not sure about the other).  Step-free to the ladies' once you're in, though the cubicles are minuscule.
