Pub on [[Locale King Street|King Street]], previously known as the Bun Shop. After being [http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/cn_news_home/displayarticle.asp?id=347475 closed by bailiffs in September 2008], the Bun Shop became [http://www.cambridgenetwork.co.uk/news/article/default.aspx?objid=54558 an annexe] to [[D'Arry's Wine Shop]] across the road. As of mid-2011, the Cambridge CAMRA newsletter [http://www.cambridge-camra.org.uk/ale/349/pub-news.html reports] that it's being refurbished and will reopen as the Jolly Scholar (as of late 2011, this has now happened — not sure if it's still connected to D'Arry's though). |

A pub on King Street; forms part of the King Street run. A slightly odd setup, with the ground floor being split into a standard bar and a restaurant/wine bar, with tapas upstairs in the evening. A decent selection of meals in the bar including generous doorstop sandwiches, with a perfectly acceptable selection of beers that seem reasonable well kept.
According to a blackboard outside (photo), they serve English breakfast (including a vegetarian option) until 3pm (as of August 2007).
