"Eat" is just at the end of the pedestrianised area as you walk South out of the city centre. The cafe offers a wide selection of sandwiches, pasta dishes and salads made and packaged that day. They also will offer to heat most of them for you. The coffee is your standard machine made affair which is okay.

The sandwiches are good and they have
a wide selection of fillings so you shouldn't get too bored. They also offer pies and soup, and have a good selection of crisp and cakes/puddings. Note that they will add on VAT if you're eating in.

The upstairs of the cafe is all seating which means that hopefully when the downstairs is full you might still find
a seat; certainly the size is misleading from the outside. Free newspapers are provided upstairs for you to read. The toilets are upstairs too. There is piped music.

It's worth noting that this is part of
a chain (it has around 60 branches in London). A nearby non-chain alternative is [[Origin8]]. Also, you're expected to tidy up after yourself when you leave. Staff will go around occasionally and pick up obvious trash from the tables, but they don't generally clear crumbs or wipe the tables.
