Shabu Shabu restaurant Aki-Teri can be found near the river, down a little side area just off Magdalene Street/Bridge Street. The restaurant itself has a very well furnished modern interior, with the seating arranged in rows of tables of benches overlooking a fountain outside. Aki-Teri has recently reopened and has a brand new menu.It now specialises in Shabu Shabu(a style of Japanese hot pot that has you the customer cooking thinly sliced cuts of meat and fish in a large pot full of various soup bases,type shabu shabu into youtube for a video guide.),spicy Sichuan dishes and a range of traditional duck and pork dishes.

Teri-Aki and Aki-Teri are on either side of a courtyard with a nice public fountain in.
