Lebanese restaurant on Hills Road, near the station. It's next door to Le Gros Franck, and it's where the Station Tandoori used to be. It opened in 2008-ish.

There's an open kitchen along one side as you go in, with a grill station including the usual rotating kebab meats and a fryer for falafel etc. There are seats for around 18 or so people on the ground floor (an ornate wrought-iron staircase leads down from here, but I'm not sure if there's more seating down there or not)

On Kake's September 2010 visit, the falafel (£3.50) photo were fried fresh and weren't dry at all; the texture was a little smoother than I like, but this is a matter of taste rather than a real criticism. Moutabal (smoked aubergine purée; £4.50) photo had an apparent smoky flavour and was decorated with sprinkled sumac. The accompanying flatbread came from a packet, and was OK.

They don't sell alcohol, but are happy for you to bring your own and don't charge corkage.

Not sure of opening hours, but it was open on a Tuesday lunchtime in September 2010, and closed on a Saturday lunchtime in the same month.

Accessibility: Large step up to get in.
