An anonymous visitor tells us that the menu is traditionally British, sourced locally where possible, and that set menus are available lunchtimes and pre-theatre at £11 for two courses or £15 for three. According to [http://anotherfoodblog.com/?p=2982 Another Food Blog], they also do Sunday brunch.

Another visitor, who identifies themselves as one of the partners in the business, confirms the existence of a vegetarian option; examples have included Whigmore Brie and shallot tart, and leek and potato Lancashire hotpot.

The Cambridge CAMRA newsletter linked below mentions that they have a couple of real ales served from the firkin, other real ales in bottles, and Westons cider direct from the polypin. It also says that although the place is mainly a restaurant, it's fine to come in just for a pint without eating.
