Churchill is a rather large college of the University of Cambridge, located amongst a cluster of such colleges to the north-west of the city centre. Founded in 1958, it comprises 450 undergraduates, 250 graduates, and 150 fellows, and focuses, somewhat, upon science and engineering.

The 42 acre grounds are very large by Cambridge standards, and many of its courts contain sculptures by major modern artists. Within these grounds, the Møller Centre for Continuing Education is a popular and stylish, if somewhat bland, location for small-scale conferences and corporate events. Also within the college grounds, the chapel is unusual in that it is actually a separate institution from the college itself; a compromise following protests by the college's founding fellows.

Despite being only a mile, or so, from the city centre, it is considered remote by many students of inner colleges.
