Old-fashioned pub on Clarendon Street, near Parker's Piece, serving Greene King ales, usually including Mild. Has a beer garden, and offers B&B accommodation. Very small beer garden to the back.
Food is served lunchtimes and evenings every day: 11am-2:30pm and 6:30pm-9pm Mon-Sat; and noon-2:30pm and 5:30pm-9pm Sun. Sundays feature a roast lunch and a steak evening, and Mondays feature Thai specials.
Quiz night is Thursday from 8:30pm.
