Version 2 Version 1

Daily Bread is a wholefood warehouse where you can buy herbs, spices, dried fruit, grains, beans, etc inexpensively in large and small quantities. They also sell organic fruit, veg, and bread, as well as things like halva, fruit/nut bars, and Green & Black chocolate. The dried fruit includes more unusual options like mango, melon, and goji berries. They also sell seeds from Suffolk Herbs, and have an Ecover refill station.

The shop includes a small cafe which seats eight people at four tables and offers coffees, teas, herb teas, hot chocolate, cakes, flapjacks, and biscuits. As of September 2010, hot drinks are mostly around £1, cakes around £1.30 for a generous slice [http://www.flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/5046666547/ photo], and flapjacks 80p. The cakes are displayed under covers at the service end of the cafe, and include a vegan option at least some of the time.

It isn't hugely obvious where the cafe is within the warehouse — it's to the right as you go in, past the tills but before the enclosed kitchen area. As of September 2010, the cafe closes an hour before the main shop.

Accessibility: A ramp (pictured) to get in, step-free to the cafe and shopping area once you're in. The aisles of the shopping area are fairly wide. Some of the shelves would probably be hard to reach from a wheelchair, but they seem to have plenty of staff available to help. Not sure if there's a toilet. There's parking directly outside.
