The Open Guide to Cambridge - Differences between Version 15 and Version 7 of Eagle

An old-fashioned pub of nooks and crannies with a heated courtyard and a long history. One of the more expensive pubs in central Cambridge, often full of tourists due to its historical reputation. Crick and Watson allegedly announced the solution to the structure of DNA here in 1952, and the RAF bar at the back of the pub contains signatures burned into the ceiling by air force members during the second world war. Not an ideal location for a quiet pint, and the bar staff often seem to be foreign students touring Europe - on the other hand the beer seems to be generally well kept, and the architecture is undeniably satisfyingly authentic.
