City centre pub, located on the corner of Elm Street and Eden Street (despite the address).

The Elm Tree used to be famous for live jazz and a large fish tank; following a change of management at the beginning of May 2008, both jazz and fish tank have gone, but there are now ten real ale handpumps. The new manager is the chap who used to manage the Hobgoblin in Reading.

There was free WiFi prior to the change of management but we don't know if there still is.

According to Paul Treadaway on cam.misc, as of early June 2008 they're not doing food yet, and when they do start doing food it'll be more along the lines of snacks than proper meals.
