Founded in 1348, Gonville and Caius College, (better known as Caius and pronounced "Keys"), is a college of Cambridge University located in the centre of the city. The college comprises 500 undergraduates, 250 graduate students, and 100 fellows.

Within term, Caius mandates undergraduates pay for a large proportion of their evening meals, whether they are taken or not, with predictable effects on food quality.
