Milton Brewery pub in Chesterton, reopened in April 2013.

Shares many characteristics, including style of decor, with the Devonshire, also owned by Milton Brewery. One of the visual treats here is the newly revealed beam roof:

Has eight beers, some of them guest beers. Milton Brewery beers are absolutely fine (in other words, very good). Has an extensive collection of malt whiskies (also similarly to the Devonshire).

As of opening it's only serving pizzas but will be serving European-style pub food from mid-May, once the gas is connected.

Update July 13th 2013: The Haymakers now does a regular Sunday roast and, as well as the pizzas, does 'ordinary' food during the week and after 4.00 on a Sunday. The pork roast was probably the best Sunday roast Juggzy has eaten in Cambridge in recent years.

Has a beer 'garden', and many cycle stands:

Dog friendly - I counted three pairs of dogs when I was in there around 6.00 on a Thursday evening.

Access: there is a ramp up to the back door from the beer garden, but has steps from the street side.
