The Hopbine was a pub on Fair Street, just off Maids Causeway. As of mid-2011, the Cambridge CAMRA newsletter [http://www.cambridge-camra.org.uk/ale/349/pub-news.html reports] that it has closed.

The information below is retained for people who want to know what it used to be like.

Pub on Fair Street, just off Maids Causeway. Had a wide range of beers and Thai food until 2005, until a change of management. It struggled to find its feet again for some time after that, but now generally manages to have a decent number of people in there. Generally four real ales on tap, plus the usual set of lagers and Guinness. The quality of the beer keeping seems to have improved recently.
