Cafe/patisserie by day, French restaurant by night (though the "by night" part only happens on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays).

They have lots of tempting-sounding things written up on boards on the walls, but in the daytime at least, your choices are limited to what you see laid out in front of you in a sort of cafeteria-style serving line photo. You choose your food from this, it goes back to the kitchen to be heated up, and then you take it to your table on a tray.

On a lunchtime visit in September 2010, Kake's salmon and asparagus crepe photo was rather disappointing; the salmon was badly dried out, the asparagus was very overcooked, and the rest of the filling was stodgy and very salty. Juggzy's sausages were better, though.

Accessibility: A step up to get in. I think the toilets may be in the basement.
