Could someone local explain why this street has an apostrophe in it? Am most intrigued. --[[Kake]] Ben'et is a local abbreviation for Benedict. I'm not sure why the apostrophe manages to survive even now in the street name though, I would have expected it to be lost over time. --[[Eleanor Blair]] @INDEX_LIST [[Locale Bene't Street]]
