Note: The Locomotive was shut down in July 2008, following seizure of a quantity of cocaine in a police raid; see Cambridge Evening News report. Punch Taverns, the owners, will be allowed to retain the licence, but the name of the pub must be changed and the extended opening hours must be cut; see later CEN report.

Pub on Mill Road. Back room often hosts small gigs, usually from local bands, with a regular Blues Night Jam ("Good Question") on the first Friday of the month. Green King ales, plus the usual keg beer. Attracts a predominantly younger clientele, and is popular with Anglia Ruskin University students. Has a couple of pool tables, and a loud, and eclectic, jukebox. A couple of large TV screens show major football matches, which draws a large crowd.
