Lucy Cavendish is a college of the University of Cambridge. Whilst it accepts undergraduates, graduates, and fellows, it exclusively admits female students over 21 years old. It comprises over a hundred undergraduates, about 80 graduates, and 35 fellows, and is one of the poorest colleges of the University.

Lucy Cavendish takes its name from an activist for women's education, and was founded in 1965 by a group of female academics known as "The Dining Group", a group which promoted the then controversial role of women within the University.

The college was established near the bottom of [Mount Pleasant]?, on Lady Margaret Road, and so forms a part of a cluster of colleges to the north-west of the city centre. Physically, the college is pleasant, but unremarkable: within small but attractive grounds, modern purpose-built brick buildings sit amongst some late-Victorian suburban houses.
