The Open Guide to Cambridge - Differences between Version 2 and Version 1 of Monkfield Arms

Version 2 Version 1

The Monkfield Arms is Cambourne's sole pub. It is run by Marston's brewery and follows their standard menu and feel. Overall there is little that makes this pub stand out; however, considering its varied customer base this is probably for the best. Food is served till 9pm each day according to the website and is a standard pub affair. The only time they have disappointed me with their food (though I've not been expecting much) was the only time I've been in on a Sunday morning and ordered their roast, which was delivered cold and dry by an employee who clearly felt she had better things to do. As such, while it provides a much needed service for the Cambourne community, it does nothing to attract customers from a wider area.
