Historical version 5 of Pembroke College (view current version)

Pembroke College is a college of the University of Cambridge, and one of its oldest, founded in 1347. Until the nineteenth century Pembroke was a very small college, with only ten, or so, undergraduates. The modern college comprises around 450 undergraduates, 200 graduate students, and 70 fellows.

Despite being near the centre of town, the college is not regularly overwhelmed with tourists, but boasts attractive, tranquil gardens.
