Rice Boat is a Keralan restaurant on Newnham Road. The food is similar to that found in a typical UK Indian restaurant, but more varied, with dishes such as spicy fish encased in mashed yam and fried, and spicy coconut rice. Flavours are fragrant and very fresh, but be warned it is also hot - the baseline amount of chilli in a dish is similar to that in, for example, a rather hot rogan josh in the average Indian restaurant. Prices are in the range of £10-£20 for a meal.
