Thai restaurant on Newnham Road. The Sala Thong website says it was the first Thai restaurant in Cambridge.

The website also offers a meal-inna-punt service — the restaurant is very close to the Mill Pond punting spot — but I don't know which months you can get this in; best to phone and check.

Sign spotted outside in September 2007 said 10% discount on food every Monday; and special set menu served 6pm-7pm for £9/person.

It's a while since I've eaten here but the food was good and the portions seemed a good size for the price. Nice atmosphere.
