Japanese restaurant Teri-Aki can be found near the river, down a little side area just off Magdalene Street/Bridge Street. The restaurant itself has a very well furnished modern interior, with the seating arranged in rows of tables of benches overlooking a fountain outside.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and showed great concern when I told them that I was intolerant to MSG.

The menu, which can be viewed on the restaurant's website, is expansive - side orders of, for example, gyozai and tempura made from a variety of meats and vegetables, noodle and rice dishes, Japanese curries and the popular traditional dish sushi. The food, although arrived quickly, was carefully presented and tasted delicious. Drinks-wise, Teri-Aki has a "large selection of wine, beer and soft drinks, including Sake and Japanese Green Tea".
