Pub on Maids Causeway.
As of early July 2007 the pub is under the new management of Ralph Holland and his Polish wife Anna-Maria.
== Line 2 == == Line 2 ==
It's closed and reopened a number of times over the years (some examples below), and seems to go through tenants at an amazing rate, so do check before you commit yourself!
It now serves a menu of mainly Polish dishes pepared by Anna-Maria. There are a good range of vegetarian options. Food is served in the evenings (6pm–9:30pm) and at lunchtimes (noon–2pm).

Indeed, our most recent news as of December 2011 is that the pub was [http://www.cambridge-camra.org.uk/ale/352/pub-news.html placed on the market] by Greene King, and [http://www.flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/6459873305/ has now been sold]. [http://www.cambridge-camra.org.uk/ale/355/pub-news.html According to Cambridge & District CAMRA], as of April 2012 there has been "a pre-application enquiry concerning erection of 16 flats" by the developer that now owns the building.
It serves a range of [http://www.greeneking.co.uk/ Greene King] beers together with a standard range of lagers and spirits.

As of May 2008 this pub was closed with a board outside from [http://www.greeneking.co.uk/ Greene King] advertising for a new tenant. As of June 2008, [http://groups.google.com/group/cam.misc/msg/055dd9f3539e2d55 according to cam.misc], it opened again with what was presumably a temporary landlord. The September/October 2008 local CAMRA newsletter [http://www.cambridge-camra.org.uk/ale/336/pub-news.html reported] that it was again fully open, with Greene King IPA and Abbot Ale on.
Inside it is arranged as two connected areas, furnished with traditional wooden tables and chairs. It has a couple of outside tables on the pavement in one of the side streets running beside the pub.

Note that it's not open on Sunday evenings, and isn't open in the afternoon except on Saturdays.
